Feesmustfall is a student led protest movement that began in mid October 2015, led by the University of Witwatersrant SRS.
The role of social media in this issue.
Social media can help spread the news , but the question is asked how? Students from different universities can join in the conversation and share their own view regrading the issue.
Students can say how are they being affected by the amount of increased fees.
Students who were not aware of this current news might now get aware and become more involved.
Advantages of social media.
News get quickly , in other words, feesmusfall was meant to alert many students in South Africa specifically disadvantages students from a poor background.
One of the advantages of social media is that , students who are disadvantaged in a way that they can not go and join in the march, join in meetings, they can just make their voices heard by posting their thoughts without being there physically.
Students can also organize marches using social media instead of having to meet up before setting up meetings.
Using social media, students who were not interested of felt like joining other students, might now change their minds and get more in touch.
Disadvantages of social media.
Many people might hide their true agenda and true colour concerning the issue.
In other words, some students might agree to feesmustfall issue in public using social media but they never face the journalists or join in marches but instead expect others to do the job for them.
Using social media might bring a bad view upon the country, people outsude South Africa might see South Africa as a non organized country.
South Africa's economy might also go down , firstly because the government might have to use the state's money to pay lecturers, electricity, water, materials such as toilet paper whereby the money was coming from students' fees.
Some countries or investor also might fear to do business with South Africa because there is no peace in the country.
Using hastags.
Hastags are searchable and scanable which makes it easy for many people to join in the conversation by using hastags and make the news trend quickly.

Recommendation
South Africans have to consider how does the government have to pay lecturers.
The government also have must consider how will students with difficult backgrounds have to pay the huge amount of fees.
Government and students have to come to an agreement which both parties will be satisfied.

Deleteif fees must fall, how are the varsity and college lecturers gonna be paid? And if it falls, then the VAT will go up (as it already has), people who were poor, will be even poor and the economy will go down.
